[26 July 2010] - 3rd Global Eco Forum - (bio)diversity & (eco)transformation Barcelona, 28 - 29 October 2010

Barcelona, 26 July 2010 - Global Eco Forum (GEF) celebrates in 2010 a third edition after being recognized with the Acció21 prize of local Agenda 21 of Barcelona in 2008 and to merge in 2009 like event of reference in Spain on sustainability, responsibility and eco-innovation. More than 70 rapporteurs and 300 assistants from private and public sector, NGO and civil society took part in this international event.

The GEF is an international encounter of annual regularity organized by eco-union with collaborators from public and private organizations and the active participation of an important group of experts who composes the advisory committee.

eco-union supports the International Year of Biological Diversity 2010 with its 3rd Global Eco Forum. This year the GEF10 acquires a cross-curricular programme that deepens in the (Bio)Diversity related to the sustainable development.

With this third edition, the organization tries to give continuity to the project and to transform it to a space of innovation, creativity, information and dialog between different actors.

During Global Eco Forum 2010, internationally recognized experts and professionals will present their visions towards a more sustainable and responsible world. Practical cases, debates, networking, workshops, performances and cultural activities (such as the GREEN PECHA KUCHA NIGHT)... all this joined to arrive at a wide range and varied public to transform the utopian ideas into concrete realities.
